Amy Ingraffia-Welp MEd, ATC
Amy Ingraffia-Welp, Certified Athletic Trainer, comes to Center for Athletic Medicine by way of DePaul University where she worked for seven years. While at DePaul she coordinated scheduling of game and practice coverage for all collegiate sports as well as implementing and developing medical supervision for prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries. Prior to DePaul, Amy was an assistant athletic trainer at Lewis University where she worked with the women's athletic teams and the nationally ranked men's volleyball program. In addition to handling all the medical needs of student-athletes, she also implemented a year-round strength and conditioning program. Amy has also worked various events throughout the Chicagoland area. Some of her experience includes the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament in 2006, NCAA Men's Basketball Sweet Sixteen Tournament in 2005, U.S. World Cup in 1999, NBA Pre-Draft Camps in 1996 and 1999, the Junior Olympic Cross Country Nationals in 1998, Minor League Baseball in 1996 and several USTA National Age Group Tournaments.
